Here comes concerts, here comes concerts, right down Local Music Lane! We will be having ourselves a merry little rock show. We will be walking in a weekend wonderland. One thing is for certain – Friday and Saturday nights certainly won’t be silent – they will be Outspoken, the talk of the town with Tongue N’ Cheek.
On Friday forget the elf on the shelf – give me Toys for Tunes, a four band show featuring Splash Panel, Concrete TeePee, Brown Bear’s Revival, and Crow Hardly. Doors open at 7, the ear candy commences at 9, and the only price you have to pay for admission is a toy (please no stuffed animals or used toys). Sure, Santa is fun to see, but jolly Jack Russell is coming to town, too! Kick off the caroling with Tongue N’ Cheek before Jack from Great White jams an acoustic set, all at the Steel Mill starting at 8.
Deck the halls? Only if it’s with Stack of Monkeys at Nicolozakes Cafe. Replace your Jingle Bell Rock with some Soul Groove Orchestra. Don your apparel at Down on Main Street. On Saturday, give me Frontroom at 1056 Lounge instead of fa la la la la, also featuring Doug Richardson and Down They Fall. Yes, joy to the world and happy holiday, but mostly – merry local music with the 12 bands of Christmas!
